CINA VISION, PURPOSE, AND VALUES

Cryo Industry Association (also referred to as CINA, Cryo Association, or the Association) aspires to be a robust global network, driving continuous advancement of the cryotherapy industry. It welcomes cryotherapy and wellness service providers, equipment suppliers, and supportive businesses, organizations, and individuals as its members.

A powerful network requires strong participants. Therefore, CINA’s Purpose (Mission) is to empower members to achieve professional, financial, and personal autonomy, thus fostering thriving businesses and a sense of fulfillment for their owners.

 To accomplish the above, CINA promotes safety, facilitates standard development and compliance, offers comprehensive education and training programs, spearheads impactful projects, hosts industry-leading events, forges strategic partnerships with aligned businesses and organizations, identifies development opportunities, and recognizes best practices and achievements.

 YOUR INVOLVEMENT. MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

 Participation in CINA is enabled through membership. It is open to individuals, businesses, organizations, and institutions that share CINA’s vision, mission, and values and have a vested interest in the reputation, strength, and sustainable growth of the cryotherapy industry.

 Membership categories reflect different types of involvement with the industry.

 Individual membership is open exclusively to individuals with a professional interest in cryotherapy and wellness, including:

  • Students
  • Researchers
  • People considering offering cryotherapy
  • Employees of cryotherapy centers whose supervisors have decided not to join as a business.

Individual membership limits access to the member portal to one person and prohibits providing professional services to other members.  

 Business membership is for wellness businesses offering cryotherapy services to the public. It is limited to one ownership per membership, regardless of the number of stores that operate under this ownership.

The business membership fee includes portal access for up to five people. Additional access is available at a surcharge.

 Vendor membership serves businesses and individuals who provide equipment or professional services to cryotherapy business owners, including but not limited to manufacturers, distributors, marketing agencies, graphic designers, business consultants, and similar.

The vendor membership comes with portal access for up to five team members.

 Affiliate membership is designed for professional associations, educational establishments, government institutions, and other organizations interested in partnering with CINA for the benefit of the industry and the public.

 Honorary membership is a status AWARDED to individuals for exceptional personal contributions to the development of CINA and the accomplishment of its vision and purpose.

  • Easy access to structured information and facilitated by CINA resources in the CINA Member Portal (member directory and library of studies, articles, visuals, how-to guides, and other materials save time and minimize risks).
  • Evergreen access to the CINA Education Hub, which includes operator-level training on physiology, applications, safety, and compliance of all cryotherapy and other wellness modalities, customer service and sales training, and more (this makes training of recruits easy).
  • Access to certification and recognition programs – Certified Cryotherapist, Industry Verified Service Provider (Blue Check), CINA Annual Awards.
  • Access to the Mastermind.

  • Access to and a possibility to contribute resources to CINA Member Portal (library of studies, articles, visuals, how-to guides, and other materials), thus building the vendor’s reputation as an expert.
  • Access to and a possibility to contribute to the CINA Education Hub (training for members), thus building awareness and reputation.
  • Access to certification and recognition programs – Industry Verified Vendor (Blue Check), CINA Annual Awards.
  • Access to the Mastermind.
  • Member-only prices for advanced training, CryoCON and other CINA events, and store items.

  • Possibility to shape industry developments beyond one company’s reach by participating in Committees and projects.

 Affiliate Membership is synergistic in nature. The payment covers the administration costs and gives affiliate members extra visibility and access to external resources to run their projects.

One-person access to the Member Portal and Education Hub and member-only prices are also included.

 Individual Members have one-person access to the Member Portal and Education Hub and can use applicable VALUE PACK offers and member-only prices.

 CINA LEADERSHIP AND REPRESENTATION OF MEMBER INTERESTS

The daily affairs of the Association are managed by a President, CEO, and a Marketing & Finance Officer, appointed by and representing CINA founders.

 To accomplish the Association’s Mission, CINA forms committees that cover the most important industry topics:

  • Market development (Market Development Committee)
  • Safety & compliance (Safety & Compliance Committee)
  • Education (Education Committee)
  • Manufacturing (Cryo Equipment Manufacturers Committee)
  • Distribution (Equipment Distributors Committee)
  • Independent store ownership (Independent Store Owners Committee)
  • Franchise store ownership (Franchise Store Owners Committee)
  • Marketing (Marketing Committee)
  • Synergies with other wellness modalities (None-Cryo-Based Partners Committee)

 The chairs of these nine committees, seasoned industry professionals, represent CINA members in their respective categories and serve as advisors to the corporate officers.

 The corporate officers and its Board of Advisors (committee chairs) collectively comprise the Association’s leadership, referred to as the Executive Committee or EXCO.

 EXCO meets online monthly and calls an annual in-person board meeting during the industry convention CryoCON. Members are encouraged to voice their opinions, ask questions, and suggest improvements at any time by contacting the corporate office or the Committee Chair representing their interests.

 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 By becoming a member, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 General Terms

 The membership category must accurately reflect the applicant’s status in the industry.

 Membership is granted after the registration form is completed, this Membership Agreement is accepted, and the annual dues OR an administration fee and the first month's membership fee, as per the membership category, are received.

 Regardless of the payment schedule, the Membership Agreement is signed for a year and must be renewed to ensure continuity. The not renewed on time membership expires.

 Once membership expires, a new application must be submitted to rejoin. In the case of rejoining, the administration fee will be charged again, if applicable, and all previously acquired special membership conditions will be void.

Dues

 The dues amount shall be as follows:

For individual members and affiliates, USD 270 per full year or USD 27 per month.

For business members, USD 970 per full year or an annual administration fee of USD 100 and USD 97 per month.

For vendors, USD 1970 per full year or an annual administration fee of USD 100 and USD 197 per month.

Paying annually waives the USD 100 administration fee and grants two free months of membership.

 Business members and vendors can purchase portal access for team members in addition to the 5 “seats” included in the membership.

 Continued membership is contingent upon being up to date on membership dues.

Membership Termination

The membership will be automatically terminated if the renewal payment is not received by its due date.

 All cancelation requests received during the year will be applied to the following membership cycle. Until then, the membership shall remain active. No refunds of already processed membership payments and no compensation for unused access to member benefits will be issued.

 All former members who rejoin shall be considered new members.

 Adherence to the Standards of Professional Conduct

 Providing truthful information and adhering to the standards of professional conduct are critical to maintaining the public’s trust in cryotherapy and other holistic wellness services and are pivotal to CINA’s ability to promote industry development.

 Members of CINA shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations and obtain and maintain the required licenses and permits to offer wellness services in their portfolios.

 Members of CINA shall provide adequate training to all their employees, including but not limited to the mechanisms, applications, benefits, and risks of the provided treatments, correct and safe use of the equipment, compliance requirements, customer care standards, and no discrimination, no harassment code of professional conduct. Only competent staff members shall be allowed to provide services to the public.

 Members of CINA shall strictly observe equipment and treatment safety requirements.

 Members of CINA should follow good employment practices.

 Members of CINA shall be truthful and honest in all communications and avoid misrepresentation of any company or service. There should be no claims that cryotherapy or any other wellness treatment is a “cure” for any condition, nor use the word “heal” unless the equipment in use is approved as a medical device and the overseeing authority (such as Food and Drug Administration in the United States, or the respective local counterpart) has cleared the treatment for a medical application.

 Violations of the above principles may result in revocation of membership, revocation of acquired certifications, and revocation of the right to use CINA designations in any visuals and other forms of communication.
